In 2024 Lang and Bev Kidby recreated the first overland trip from England to Australia by Francis Birtles in 1927
Totally unsupported the couple left Brookland’s Museum in England on the 18th April 2024 and close to 5 months later arrived in Melbourne Australia on 31st August in a 100 year old car a 1924 Bean 14 identical to the car Francis used.
